Carboglace®, ACP’s Dry Ice (carbon ice) or CO₂ in solid form, is obtained by expanding liquid carbon dioxide at atmospheric pressure. During that process, half the liquid CO₂ turns into gas while the other half turns into CO₂ snow. This CO₂ snow is compressed in hydraulic presses, creating ice blocks, slices or pellets. Dry Ice (solid carbon dioxide) is a simple but ingenious product with major advantages and many industrial applications.
