Dry Ice cleaning is known by several names: Dry Ice blasting, Dry Ice cleaning, CO2 blasting, and even environmentally sustainable cleaning.
Dry Ice cleaning is an efficient and cost-effective industrial cleaning system, which helps industries to maximise production capability and quality. Dry Ice cleaning or blasting is similar to sand blasting, plastic bead blasting or soda blasting, where particles are accelerated in a pressurised air stream to impact a surface which needs to be cleaned or prepared. But that's where the similarity ends.
Instead of using hard abrasive particles to attack a surface (and damage it), Dry Ice blasting uses soft Dry Ice pellets accelerated to supersonic speeds, and creates mini-explosions on the surface to lift the undesirable layer off the underlying substrate.
Dry Ice pellets can be made on site or supplied by ACP.

For 60 years, we have supplied Dry Ice throughout Europe and helped companies set up Dry Ice cleaning for many kinds of applications.
Some of the proven applications for Dry Ice cleaning are:
We are known for the quality of our CO2 and our reliable delivery. Since 1897, we have never failed to deliver to a single customer.
We have a Dry Ice production capacity of 10 tonnes per hour, as well as an extensive network of Dry Ice partners across Europe.

We produce Dry Ice pellets which are made from food-grade CO2 and we are unconditionally dedicated to quality and safety.
In co-development with some key customers, we went even further, beyond the already demanding requirements of the EIGA and ISBT regulations. In order to serve these customers even better, we developed a Safe For Food + programme with guaranteed 99.99% purification and the most stringent safety system.
ACP’s special Safe For Food + programme:
Our Safe for Food + programme is an extremely rigorous quality and safety assurance programme.
Depending on your Dry Ice requirements and your logistics chain, your best solution in terms of total cost of ownership could be to produce Dry Ice in your own facilities.
There’s no better partner than ACP for setting up Dry Ice production on your site. Our dedicated engineering department has extensive expertise in installing such facilities. Working closely with the leading Dry Ice machine producers, we have built over 100 installations in the past 10 years.
ACP delivers CO2 in bulk for your onsite production
